Yard Rules, Cape Town

It was 37 degrees (C) today, apparently, and there was very little wind. The beaches were heaving, as it is still school hols. After swimming and taking in a bit of sun, we got too hot and came home. Then we went by train to Claremont to do some shopping at Cavendish Square.

We got a taxi back, and the driver kindly stopped for us to get a bottle on the way home. He took us to a former shebeen but now legitimate licensed drive-in bottle store. It was great. You drive in, place your order, pay the money, and it is brought out to you.

That started us reminiscing with the driver about drive-in movies. We took his card in case we need a taxi again.
