Eye of the beholder

A typical start to my day includes taking a walk along the beach with the dog, today was no exception. Today it was a walk along the beach at Findhorn, Moray. We were entertained for a good 20 minutes by the common seals as the tide was coming in along with their fish. Sadly the photos taken were not great as they are so quick in the water.

After the seals we spotted a Little Grebe (by first ever sighting of one), a goldeneye and either a Red Breasted Merganser or a Gooseander but it was just that bit too far away to properly ID.

A little pied wagtail features in this photo and that was the main subject, but am lacking the telephoto lens at the moment. This photo caught me by surprise of how much I like it and hence why it is todays Blip.
