A Holy Day

Today was spent at the Vatican. It is such a beautiful place and i took about a hundred photos of St Peters Square and the Basilica and the view from the dome. I know, as I'm taking them, that i probably took one exactly the same just a second ago but I can't help myself. We spent quite a bit of time inside the Basilica, just admiring it, before climbing the dome and then heading around to the Museum and the Sistine Chapel.

I figured everyone has photos of the Square and the Basilica so i chose this one. We watched this family while snacking on bananas on the steps. The little girl loved the pigeons, which i though was nice for the pigeons, since people usually hate on them. But then i found out I had pigeon poo on my bum, and that was the end of that.
