Penguin Suit

Our annual works Christmas Ball took place yesterday evening, and for some reason, had a Bollywood theme. This meant we had some lovely Indian dancers performing, some very tasty starters, and, strangely, BEEF fillet steak (delicious and tender) for dinner. It reminded me of the time my wife tried to order beef curry in our local Indian restaurant, despite cows being sacred animals in India!

This was taken in the bathroom of our room before the event started and was about our tenth attempt. The mini pedal bin had seen unsatisfactory service as a tripod and the strained looks on our faces are a little comical!

We disappeared around 01:30 but the karaoke and supper was planned to go on until 04:30. When we were leaving the hotel this afternoon, I was told that some folk were still at it at 07:30! I'm definitely too old for that malarky!
