Dhow

The kids had the day off today for staff training, so I took them down to the beach for a very pleasant few hours (although I forgot to put suncream on my arms and now have very unpleasant tingling red arms). You would be forgiven for thinking that dhows like this are just used for tourist cruises and dinners these days in Dubai, but in fact they still used for fishing and carry significant amounts of cargo around as a quick trip down to the Creek will confirm.
