Bald eagle

The last day of the holidays.

I saw this eagle struggling to take off from the water with something enormous in its talons, I couldn't see it but Amy had the binoculars and thought it might be a dead duck.

After all that exertion he came and sat in the tree, caught his breath, and then flew off again.
