Hubba Bubba Mumma

Bit of a mixed bag today, woke up after having the strangest, lucid dream - where I was in a school and was talking to someone about the split, the other woman, and subsequent fallout.

It felt like the dream had lasted for hours and that I had been talking with a therapist. Actually woke up without that horrible heavy feeling in heart - for the first time since August. Hope it stays that way!

Got a landlord house check tomorrow - so have been madly cleaning, not been a very nice mum and have been nagging the girls way too much! Would really like them to just tidy up after themselves a tiny bit...

..instead they seem to leave a wake of destruction behind them in any room they spend a nanosecond in!

And there was another first today! We have to pass the park on the way to the supermarket - and as we have to walk I use a visit to the park on the way home to pursuade them that..

a) yes, we do need to get food from the supermarket to survive

B) mum finding a boyfriend with a car is a bit easier said than done!

So, we are in the Co op and Jeanne wants bubble gum. My girls have never had gum till they were at least 9 or 10. But Evie, 6 was pretty crestfallen - so after all the changes they've been through lately - I just thought...

life is too bloody short to not spend it blowing bubbles!

The blip for today is Evie at the park with a mouthful of Hubba Bubba.
