Shop Window Curios 8

Not too sure what this is. Your guess is as good as mine! I found it in the window of an antique furniture shop in Leith. It looks to me like a collection of some sort of paint canisters. As to what the frame refers to, not a clue! But I like it.

Just edited my entry, because a friend of mine has enlighted me to the actual meaning of all this, and I find it very interesting. If you're interested to know you will find all the information on this link:

So, it's Elph, the "street artist" versus Robert Burns the "Scottish Poet" and the name of a colourful graffiti depicting a scene from Tam O'Shanter where a drunk Tam is chased across Ayrshire by demons and witches after Tam's been spotted spying on their party.

Thanks Wendy!!!

The weather was horrible today. It's been raining and drizzling all day.

Today I was actually late for work because I'm a numpty! For some reason I thought that 45 minutes after 10.15 would be 10.45!!! I don't know why. Never mind. When I realised that I was wrong it was a bit too late, so I had to run all the way up the Royal Mile. It took me five minutes to get from the bridges to the top of the Mile. If you live in Edinburgh you know what that means. Totally out of breath when I finally got there! Good exercise though!

My day went not too bad, apart from the fact that I forgot my working shirt at home. It was mostly quiet. I had two tours with really nice people, which makes a big difference.

Now relaxing at home. I'll try to do some translation work for my friend after dinner and then off to bed.
