PLEASE excuse my rant!!pavement or cycle path?

NOW.. when i was a kid, the traffic warden was always around to yell at us kids for riding our bikes on the pavement.
we would be chastised big time, and told that the path was for people and the road is for bikes & Cars!

so WHERE today was the said traffic warden..

i did step aside for this path hog but not a thank u was uttered..

now thats another thing..
manners!!
what has happened to common manners and politeness..

you hold the door for someone, and not even eye contact!
oh lordy..
maybe iam turning into a grumpy old woman after all??
