Cupboard light
Least glamourous light in the house - in the hall cupboard. Generally a place to dump things that we can't quite bring ourselves to throw out in case they 'come in' (but of course they never do). Something of a glory hole and little else. Except for its fifteen minutes. A couple of years ago a group of fellow students gathered to take large format pictures of vegetables for a college project in our HND first year. Peppers and other vegetables, in the style of Edward Weston. Anyway, even with as many dark slides as we could get our hands on, not enough for everyone to get enough pictures, so rather than use a changing bag to empty and re-fill the dark slides, cardboard baffles were used to good effect to block out all the light and I was able to empty and re-load a series of dark slides very successfully in the temporary hall cupboard mini-darkroom.
