williamsburg, brooklyn

There is still a great deal of street art in williamsburg even though the neighborhood has suffered greatly from gentrification. There are overpriced condos going up all along the waterfront, even though the area is basically built over a toxic waste dump. It's still hip, but just wait until there is a chase bank and a starbucks on every corner. Is that progress? I don't think so.
