Bossy boots

This photo isn't quite what it seems, as there is no one in the boots.
The owner of the boots couldn't see why standing in the rain (to add atmosphere to a nice reflective light shot) was in his interest.

This someone knows his own mind.

Yesterday he took a tool kit and some police cars to kindergarten, today he took his red spotty tea set in its sweet little basket.

He is a very physical boy with a will or iron and a pair of lungs to match. He sings loud rock songs with hilarious lyrics and scares the cat quite a lot. He's the youngest.

He is also very gentle, nurturing, kind and extremely loving. He shows this side of himself in little magic moments alongside his general state of self assertion.

When I picked him up from Kindergarten I half expected to hear a lot of broken china rattling around in the basket. Instead, I heard a warming tale of how beautifully he had shown the tea set to his friends, how he had shared this special present (given to him by his Granny) and how he had kindly made tea for everyone.

Yesterday morning at 7am I heard the crashing sound of china hitting wood, as a little spotty cup and saucer landed on my bedside table. "Tea for you Mum" and he bolted out of the room.
