A palindrome day

I am not one to usually use clever words but I just happen to know this one, palindrome. It is a word, phrase, number or sequence of units that can be read the same, forwards or backwards.

I know about this as my eldest son was born on a palindrome date, and of course we thought it made his birth even more special.

I spend most of my life trying to use simple words which will clearly and concisely instruct my children to do, or not do, things. I often get my words all muddled up and they think it is hilarious. Although exasperated, this reassures me that they are listening.

The most popular words in our house at the moment are not very sophisticated.
