999 piece jigsaw!

Whenever Amy is up staying with us, we usually end up bringing out the jigsaws

We spend hours quietly in each others company as we work together.

I always find it such a gentle and completely absorbing pastime.

it bridges the age gap between us which for me is a delight.

This was one of Amy's christmas presents which I kept up here for her visit.

However, we didn't manage to complete it before she left for home so I finished it alone today.

There was one piece missing!!!
