My tribute to my ill colleague.

He's a life long Derby County fan..............and to make it worse, he watches his adopted home town team of Rochdale. Glutton for punishment or what.

Tonight was Parent's Evening and for years his teaching room has been the refreshments room. If you wanted a coffee or a tea or abiscuit etc you went in there and the first thing that hit you was the music. He's a life long Soul fan and he set up three hours of obscure(and some not so obscure) Soul classics to play.Tonight his room was silent....it just didn't feel right.......so Peter and I decided we needed to restore the status quo. Peter got his lap top from the labs and he set off amusic loop. It wasn't classic soul, but it just felt right for there to be music in that room at thet time.

Afterwards I got home and we went out to the fun quiz......we won..........by one point.....so that's £20 for next weeks beer!
