Oops!

It was one of those days that seem to be full of nothing and seems to take all day to arrive at nothing!

Went to town very late in the day and made an impromptu purchase of a few bargain summer tops.

Then it was on to friends L & M for tea with other friends C & K who are over from England for a few weeks. It was lovely to see them and their whanau and, despite it being 13 years since they first went to England, it seems like only a couple of years since they were living here. It's so nice to be able to fall into a conversation with someone who you haven't seen for a long time and have it feel like no time at all has lapsed.

It was only on the drive home late in teh evenening that I realised I hadn't taken any pics at all during the day. The ENZA plant, where many, many NZ apples are despatched from, seemed like the only bright subject around hence this rather dubious shot of a couple of their apple crate stacks.

Maybe C & K could work out a deal with ENZA about coming back to NZ on a regular basis, like the apples?!!?

PS: Once again it seems my life repeats. This time last year I also posted a last minute, late-in-the-day emergency blip!
