It's Funny

I think it's interesting that people you know, friends, can be having the same relative experience as you hundreds of miles away. On a small scale, the world might seem to be very similar sometimes. A friend of mine, up in the wilds of Kodiak, has been looking for an opportunity much as we are down here. He is planning something, shall we say, more "vegetarian", but similar in scope as us with our B&B. We both have the same concerns and questions and are equally excited about the other's intended venture. We worked together a few years ago on a habitat management plan for the newest ski resort in the U.S. and have been good friends since, even after he deserted and moved up north.

The world is large, and distances great but, it seems, technology brings it back down to scale.
