Dawn of a new day

A nice sunrise on the new year, as arbitrarily decided upon by the monks of old. Didn't stay up last night, but did wake up when the neighborhood fireworks went off, luckily briefly.

Here's hoping for an exciting year, new positive challenges and rewards for all.

Now I just have to remember to write 2008 instead of 2007 on my checks.
