taste our goods

one of my lovely friends runs this adorable, tiny, lunch counter in an upscale grocery store next to the farmers market. taste our goods it is called. delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, you name it. even a salad named after none other than yours truly! and whenever i come to visit, i cannot help but stop in to, well, taste her goods. today it was a breakfast burrito, likely the best one ive ever had.

i love the way good, wholesome food can bring a smile to my face, and warmth to my heart. add it having been made by a dear friend and the feeling escalates. pure joy in a meal!
