bittersweet

ive been spending some time in the town of my college years, where quite a few of my friends still reside. this place is a part of my soul, so time here always proves to be well spent and enjoyable. filled with deliciously sinful foods, lovely people, and favorite nostalgic places. but this trip has proven to be significantly more bittersweet than most. instead of bidding people farewell for a few months, this time i know it will be years before i see most of these people and places. so i breathe in the good feelings, make sure there are plenty of hugs, and know these people and places will forever be a part of who i am. especially this girl, my dear friend avie.
