No messy boys allowed here!

Had a really cr@p day today. Got an early bus from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas to catch a flight to the Lakes district. When we turned up at the airport we were told the flight had been put back 2.5 hrs. This left us stranded at the airport for over six hours. How bored were we! Finished my book, played endless games of cards and drank too much coffee.

When we landed at Puerto Montt - supposedly the travel hub of the South - we had planned to hire a car. We tried at each one of the 10 hire car desks at the airport and they looked at us like we were mad when we asked for a car. All this time faffing and we had missed the transfer bus into town so in the end we paid for a taxi to get to Puerto Varas and found a gorgeous hostel (where men can´t pee standing up!) and had some really nice fish at a lovely restaurant and we felt much happier.
