A day off doing very little for me today as you can imagine. Trying to get used to the crutches and reaslising that if this stays on I am not going to be able to do so much and I can see me getting pretty irratable. Jack and Erin were fantastic and helped me tidy up and do the washing etc but I'm sure the novelty will wear off. Erin is already upset about the fact tha tI can't pick her up and is even clingier than usual.
Managed to get down to the open day for the local youth centre this afternoon and show my face and support them, hopefully itwill be up and running properly soon which will be wonderful for the youngsters. Not so good for them is the fact that our preschool is closing due to country removing their funding, so there is going to be a lot of meetings and a fight.
