Hello
There where thousands of seabirds in St Ives Harbour today so I braved the rain to take some photos. In the end though my favourite was one of the seals that was presumably there to eat the same shoal of fish as the gulls.
This is in colour but it was 99% grey and raining today so its hard to tell it from a black and white I am afraid.
I also took quite a lot of shots of the birds which are on my blipfolio . I know its a mix of Herring Gulls, Cormorants and something else. If anyone can help me identify the something else it would be appreciated. Its medium sized, black legs, black wing tips and leading wing edge, has a grey band behind the eyes, and dives from the air into the sea to catch fish.
