Vintage
Yesterday I went up to the Woodstock Square to see a photography exhibit at The Opera House. Afterwards I spent a bit of time shooting around the square. Then I walked around checking out the little shops around the square. There's plenty of antiques and several of the shops feature local artits and their goods.
I walked into a little artsy shop and the first thing I saw was four vintage cameras. I spent the next half hour examining each one carefully. I chose this one...the Jiffy Kodak six-16. It appears to be in good working order.
I'm fairly certain my hubby nearly had a heart attack when I bounced in yesterday evening after my trip..."I bought a camera...I bought a camera!" haha! Luckily these vintage camera's can be found for very little money.
Of course, the trick now is to find a film supplier...and...a film processor.
A roll of film with 8 exposures will actually cost more than I paid for the camera, and the processing even more than that.
I'll be very careful when I take this camera out to shoot!
