That's what it's been this week, completely bananas.

The news about Geoff's stroke
The long drive to Dad's in the pouring rain.
The quiz team, losing.
Dad's operation being cancelled.
The long drive back with the phone going crazy with calls and messages.
Strange days at work, us all in limbo.
Geoff leaving us.
2 hours sleep.
The 7 hour course with 23 worthwhile minutes.
3 hours sleep.
Today a meeting to honour Geoof and too much drinking.
Then out with the boys tonight and more drinking
Tomorrow's going to be a difficult day consoling staff and pupils and I'm going to be nursing my first hangover for years.


And to think I thought this year would be better!
