Cramond
Today myself and the girlfriend went to try and find Eagle Rock via underneath the forth rail bridge and walked for ages and turned back when we got to Dalmeny House as it was just to far to walk, need to try and find another way to get to it with not as long a walk. Tomorrow i think i will go try and find Wallace's Stone or Almond Castle.
Cramond is one of the nicest and closest escapes from the busy Edinburgh town. It features nice promenades, the remains of a Roman fort from 142AD and a 15th Century church tower with a remarkable graveyard. The Cramond Island in the Firth of Forth is only accessible via a causeway when the tide is out
