How much?

So this morning I got up and did some exercise! I power walked with a friend around the block! And ran the last little bit.

I was in and out of work today, and on the way in one time I decided to blip the gas station. Now I remember gas being a lot cheaper out here, but lets see.....
$3.60 a gallon (US) = 60p a litre for diesel. So I make that more than half the price to fuel up out here still! Why is fuel such a rip off in the UK?

Right off to bed early again!
