South of the Border Volleyball

For 18 years, South of the Border (SOB) Volleyball Tours has brought groups of volleyball junkies down to the beach at Ixtapa for a week to play a volleyball. The tour also brings along professional players to play alongside the guests. We spent an enjoyable morning watching Christal Morrison, who I had coached with at University of Washington volleyball camps, play with a variety of partners of differing skill levels. She was unfailingly helpful and positive with everyone. Here she helps her newest partner by going full out to keep the ball alive, even though these particular games are just for fun.
