What's going on down there?

Sometimes I'm such a nosey little collie dog. It was very cold on my walk this morning but by lunchtime the sun had come out so I thought I'd play on my sun terrace. However, when I hear noise from below obviously I have to have a look over the wall to see what is going on??!!
