Do you like my ring? Pretty isnt it? I got it today from my favourite-ist loveliest Aunt. Shes fab. she remembered this ring from when I was at a shop near her house in the summer.i liked it then, and now I love it.

So much so that although it wasnt quite big enough, and a visit to a local jewellers proved it would be difficult to enlarge, decided to shove it on my finger anyway. Y'know, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
ten minutes later it was stuck... hard. my finger was swollen and purple. There was no way this was coming off. I did everything that google told me, butter, oil, handcream, conditioner, NOTHING was getting this off. I called every jeweller in town, all about to close. My last call was the hospital, who said they would have it in pieces. I was panicking, and decided to go to a local shopping centre to double check that they werent lying when they said they would be closing soon. HURRAH! I found a jeweller open, got loose, quite astonished as to how I could have got my finger in there in the first place. I have a MASSIVE finger now, and cant quite believe it myself. I was very upset, as it is very special to me. She salvaged it as best she could. she couldnt fix the silver, so I now have a ring with a split at the back. But I LOVE it.
And hey ho, another funny story that just makes me ask WHY... do I do these things????

Lovely birthday. very special. Quiet night, beer and the hubby and some haggis. Great. When my finger goes back down to it's normal size it will be even better. :-)
