LANDING
A couple of days ago (approx) I Blipped a Red Admiral butterfly and talked about the way which it used the leading edge to feather its flying performance -
I think todays blip is an example also of the changing of the wing structure at the leading edge to slow the flying progress - I feel sure the early pioneers of modern flight must have studied the flying habits of the birds and the bees to get some pretty good information for keeping those metal flying machine in the air.
Sorry I'm just reminding myself of the marvel(s) of nature - How we must be able to still learn.- something?
or it might be just the ramblings of a silly old fart ??
