Moon Rise!

Had a lovely day today. Spence and I went into Warragul this morning to print off some of the photos I am entering into the Neerim District Show!! I entered last year and won quite a few categories and that was before I knew anything and before I had my funky DSLR camera!!

We had lunch and then Spence had his sleep while I mounted all the photos onto A4 black and filled in the entry form. I then had to go up the street to leave them at the Post Office to get collected! I always leave things until the last minute and I was up at the Post Office at about 4.45 trying to get everything in and done and it closes at 5! I entered 37 photos in!!

We had our lovely friends, Clare and Cindy over for tea tonight, they arrived at about 6pm and Spence had a great time playing with them. We haven't seen them since before Christmas so they gave Spence his present tonight which he was so excited about! It was a mini golf set with two clubs and balls as well as an alligator that you have to hit the ball into!

Kaz made us a beautiful meal which was a veal and vegetable stack. Then we had lemon tart for dessert which Cindy had made! We played a game and then it was time for them to go.

When we were outside saying goodbye I noticed a white glow in the sky near the horizon and realised it was moon about to rise. I rushed inside and got my camera, changed to my zoom lens (55-250) and used the remote shutter to play around with different settings. I am still not able to take any really clear close up shots of the actual moon, but didn't mind this one with the trees!

Back to work tomorrow where I am hoping to try and catch up on some commenting. I have been really bad lately and feel I am so far behind with everyone.
