Snowy Monday

You can't see it here, but the snow is coming down in fairly large fluffy flakes. This is more snow than we've seen here in a long time (frequency, anyway, not depth). It usually rains.

One most certainly dead hard drive (not that big a deal, it was my boot drive only) and 2 other drives not readable. Hopefully these can be recovered (I might find out today) since they are my data and backup drives. Still don't know what happened to cause the failure. The computer was on a UPS (battery back-up). Just goes to show that even when you plan, something can go wrong. When I get set back up, I will be making 2 system back-ups, one off-system, with a backup to DVD at least once a week.

I'm also looking at online storage for all my data.

Man, sometimes I really do hate computers.
