The youngest swinger in town

It amazes me to think that today's distraction to allowing some essential housework to be done, well part two of the distraction was number 1 son's first shot on a swing. As is fairly typical with the young fellow, he took it all in his fairly short stride.

The rest of the day was a bit of a haze. Trying to battle with the essential to be dones rather than the desirables, is a constant one fought with a mixture of the fatigue that the week has left upon us and desire to get it all done. House is a bit of a mess, but it could be considerably worse.

On the desirable list is stuff we did with eldest far earlier that we should do with the youngest, it shall be done in due course, and we are not beating ourselves up, that much about not managing.

A day that started with a major headache, I think more to do with the thought of what needed to be done, which progressively was replaced, as time went by.

And this evening's soundtrack was more what yesterday was like. 100 miles an hour.

Watched that emotional animated film again, surprisingly, no tears, it was a very nice ending.
