get into the groove

Today was our first real initiation into Norwegian winter sports - cross country skiing! We went with friends to Brekko, only about 1hrs drive from home. Luckily we had one Norwegian with us to teach us the basics, thanks Mario! Joe's signed up to do a race in March with his work buddies, so is now officially in training and did very well for only his second time on these skis. I however, spent most of the day lagging behind and falling over and now have a very bruised bottom! Ah well, it was fun :o)
And we're doing it all again tomorrow as we hired the skis for 2 days, eek!
