I think I'm still a beginner!

Today was our second day attempting to learn cross counry skiing. It was HARD, even more so than yesterday! Much more hilly and so more mad upwards herringbone steps. Luckily the snow here was softer than yesterday, so my bruises haven't been too battered. When we were nearly at the top of the slope, I gave up and de-skiied, walked up the rest of the way. Weather was gorgeous and there were hardly any other people out so we had a rather picturesque picnic before nordic walking (girls) / skiing (boys) back down. Great weekend, and what a priviledge to have this within an hours drive.
