Rural Churches

We are in the Marlorough Sounds this week nestled amongst native bush with a view of the Sounds. One would expect to awake to the songs of bell birds and tui's. Aha, not to be.....4.30 we woken with a 4.4 earthquake - nice, NOT!!

It has been raining all day and still is, damm it!!

We went back into Blenhiem this morning to do the mega grocery shop before the the Wellington and Oz family arrive here on Tuesday....horrors!

I had my eye on these two funky coloured churches on the way and hoped on our return it would not be raining, but it was. Rain drops on lens so there was no choice but to use the first images taken, the remaining few were blotched.
They are very colourful but I have given them a sketch look just to brighten up my day.
