Lonely Christmas

Well it's been a while hasn't it! So long in fact that I'd forgotten how to blip my fotos!! However I'm back with my NY resolution to upload every day. This morning while walking my dog in the local countryside I came across this isolated hawthorn that someone had carefully decorated for Christmas. The baubles are affixed with industrial strength plastic ties. Two inspirational plastic message cards were attached, one being the famous 'footsteps' and the other one was about overcoming doubts and bad times. I wonder what the story is behind this? Perhaps someone had a bad time and did this to mark their seeing light at the end of the tunnel? It certainly made me think.
