The first fish of the year!

It's not the biggest fish in the world....but it's the first!

It's not a very good picture....but it's the first fish of the year!

I caught several more today, all bigger.....but this was the first!

The new holdall I got for Christmas, which lets me carry the rods all ready made up, meant I was fishing five minutes after breaking the ice and it took less than five minutes to pack up.

We had to break ice to fish today, but it was a fairly pleasant day weather wise, and everyone caught, so .......success.

The Ikea furniture is nearly finished and soon it's salmon for tea.......not caught by me.....and then maybe a beer later.
