carseat or toy?
We found out yesterday that one of the babies that Amelie was playing with on Tuesday and Thursday last week at Baby Explorers and Babes to Tots has got chicken pox! I know that they are infectious before the spots come out and Amelie had some pretty close contact with him (he was the poor little boy who's hair she went for and then decided to give him a hug and ended up on the floor on top of him and they also had a bit of an argument over a walker) so we will be waiting to see whether she devlops anything. To be honest, it would be good to get it over with and maybe better that she's so young. But Louise has never had chicken pox and has put herself and Rose in isolation as its her wedding day in 1 month's time! So its going to be a pretty quiet couple of weeks for us as we wait for the pox or not make sure of no pox. I'm not really sure what the etiquette is regarding groups - we don't know if she has it or not so should I avoid all groups or go seeing as she doesn't have it yet? Hmm not sure.
As soon as we put the new carseat in the car the old one was brought into the house and suddenly, to Amelie, it became a toy. We're going tohave to find somewhere to put it so she doesn't destroy it but at the minute she loves nothing more than to climb in it with something to chew on and sit there for a while. She also loves to stand in it and rock it and sometimes play with the straps. Who knew carseats were so much fun?
