ok, it was me
Amelie - mid clap. She has been clapping for a while but not as good as she has been the past week. She claps when I ask her to (so I know for sure she understands 'clap'...why not 'no' ?) and claps spontaneously when something is good or exciting. I love it!
Another non-busy day today. We got some housework done this morning. Ironing - despite the dangers of trying to iron whilst a small child is clinging to the ironing board. Emptying and filling the dishwasher - Amelie is so good at emptying and not so good at filling. Washing - as with the dishwasher. Sorting clothes for the weekend (a trip away) - Amelie enjoyed destroying the piles. She then enjoyed grabbing handfulls of my breakfast whilst I tried to eat as quickly as I could and fell off the glider chair whilst being dressed (she likes to sit and rock it whilst I try to put clothes on her without her noticing!). After Chris was up and I was showered (and joined in the shower after someone decided to smear banana in their hair...not Chris) we went out for a little walk and the Amster fell asleep in her buggy. She was woken too soon when we got back and so spent the next 2 hours being extremely grumpy until dinner where the tears continued whilst she refused to eat my pasta and then a jar of pasta. Bath and bed was definitely called for.
