Burhinus capensis (Spotted thick-knee)

Lillian and I were quite concerned when we saw this pair, looks like she is a bit under the weather, but no, there were quite a few couples like this, all over in the field, perhaps breeding season? But sitting in the middle of the paved street? I don't know why!! ;-0
