Robert Burns

On this, the 252nd anniversary of his birth, atop his granite plinth - adorned with fresh laurel wreath - Robert Burns towers over Union Terrace, Aberdeen.

Today, the BBC completed their project to put recordings of The Complete Works of Robert Burns online, and now, thanks to the wonders of modern technology, anyone can can listen to their favourites of his 717 poems and songs.
