Ushuaia...the southernmost city in the world!

So today is the first day proper after a long flight via Beunos Aires to "the end of the world".
Booked onto a 4 hr trek into the foothills of some of the most spectacular mountain ranges i've ever seen. There was evidence of beaver activity everywhere with gnawed wood and a big lake built up by a surrounding dam. Absolutely beautiful and this is just the start.
Later today we board the polar exploration boat ready for a 2 day crossing of Drake's passage to the Antarctic peninsular!!
