~A Sonoran Desert Yucca~
~Near Oracle Junction, Arizona~
I'm going into town tomorrow morning to visit The Center for Creative Photography on the University of Arizona campus. It is an archive and research center that retains the archives of Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Garry Winogrand, Harry Callahan, and other great 20th-century photographers, with over fifty archives in all. I will be able to inspect some of Ansel Adams prints, the actual prints! Not under glass, without any other form of protection other than the white cotton gloves they give you.
When I return home tomorrow evening I maybe a little bit more saintly and angelic from this experience. But fear not, my friends here in Blipland, you can still refer to me as ol' BikerJim. I promise I won't let this momentous event change who I really am, humble, introspective, generous to a fault, and extremely good looking.
I'll give a report on my exploits at the Center for Creative Photography at my next posting here at The Blip. In all seriousness, this should be a truly wondrous and awe-inspiring adventure.
Thanks for dropping in on ol' BikerJim
(Edit, I just saw at this image in big, I like it. Have look!)
