I wish I'd been there

I have had a drive over to the perpetually cold Buxton and picked up this book.

I was going to blip a photo of a cute little dog but my mind kept coming back to the theme of the book and which moment I would visit.

To that end fellow blipsters, if you could visit any moment in history, famous or infamous, which would it be?

After much thinking on my part, I would choose Normandy, June 6th, 1944. For me, one of the single most momentous days in modern history.
