say aye tae a pie!

hahahahaha - this made me laugh today! our local bakery has been awarded gold in the 'scottish pie club's world championship' - for their curry pie. they actually had two other awards displayed on their door - a silver and bronze, but I'll have to have a look and see what they're for tomorrow. I had to take this pic quickly as someone was trying to come out the door at the time!

I can't say that I have sampled any of their pies recently (I may have had a steak pie or two when I was pregnant with peggy) - and I don't like the sound of curry pie - but in the interests of quality control, I might have to get a JG Ross pie at some point soon...y'know, just to check that they deserve gold.

continued work on the lorelei album cover today - it's coming together nicely. and I booked a table for a craft fair on 5th march...february will be a very busy month - hope I can get everything done...
