Odd shape

This building is I think a rather strange shape it is in the little Town of Prescot which dates back to John of Gaunt.
What the building was originally used for I haven't a clue; its been various shops during the time I have shopped in Prescot.
No longer in use at present.
I had parked (legally) on the road near this building many times but only thinking about today's Blip did I take a good look at it.

The skies are blue the sun is doing its best (for January) but its cold; last night -4 but about 2c now.
