Did Something New...

Let me just start out by saying that I think New Year's is the most arbitrary of all holidays and I don't feel the significance of it--and I make it a point to be in bed before midnight.

But this year I did something a little different. It both worked well and was fun! We are too young to set concretes, [nearly] nothing is definite so why try and label it so?

If I made resolutions, this year would be about doing those new things, stop babysitting others, and having fun. If I made this resolution, things would already be going swimmingly.

oh, as for the picture--it was taken when I was stopped at an intersection for one and a half songs from TV on the Radio (probably just under ten minutes) when I was making a physical journey mirroring the mock resolutions above. Of course, the name of the street was Prospect. The picture is nothing deliberately artistic, not deliberately symbolic, it's real.
