Winter sunset in Arbroath.
Been an interesting 24 hours. Last night's gig (must not say concert, must not say concert, must not say concert....) was OK. Like the music to listen to in a relaxing kind of way, but not enough ooomph for a live show. Problem was lots of it is effects based and that doesn't translate well into a visual performance.
Livened up at the end though. Just after the band had finished playing some nutter (who came in tanked and who had at least another 6 pints throughout the performance) jumped off the balcony onto the stage - which was at least 20 feet below. I have no idea what happened to him as the security guards surrounded him pretty quickly and got him off stage, but he was a very lucky guy. He could easily have broken his neck. Ironically it was probably the alcohol that saved him.
Today was much less intense. We got up, had a long, lazy breakfast and then headed out for a walk along the cliffs at Arbroath. Had thought about heading on to Auchmithie, but back into the town for lunch before a walk round the harbour at sunset and then home.
